"I dreamed of becoming a librarian..."

Books, reading, and libraries have been important to me since I was little. I dreamed of becoming a librarian since junior high because I had such joyful and positive experiences from several remarkable librarians who took me under their wings. After some time and much work, I fulfilled my goal and I have my dream job. So now as a children's librarian, I strive to bring the excitement of reading and the value of libraries to a multitude of people by reading wonderful stories to young children, sharing old favorites and great new novels to school age kids, and helping parents and teachers find the best books for their needs.
