Read Across America

On March 2nd, Arlington Reads’ Learning Zone celebrated Read Across America day!
Read Across America is an initiative of the National Education Association, created to raise awareness about the importance of literacy and motivate children to read. The annual event falls on Dr. Seuss’s birthday. To mark the event, Learning Zone students spent the first 30 minutes of class reading with their tutor, receiving a certificate and free book when they had finished.
