Parking Challenges at the Central Library

Starting Wednesday, January 12, portions of the Central Library North parking lot will be closed due to reconstruction and renovation. The Mesquite street side entrance will be closed for the first two weeks as traffic is redirected to the Center street entrance with only the inner circle of the lot available for parking. Patrons unable to find parking will need to park on the Municipal Office Tower parking garage across Mesquite street or on the lot East of the garage taking care to avoid areas where parking is prohibited and towing is enforced.

Once that work is completed the Mesquite street side entrance will re-open and the Center street side close for the remainder of the project. The completion time for the entire project is expected to take approximately four weeks. If you need assistance with parking issues, do not hesitate to ask a library staff member.
