ATMOS Energy

"Atmos Energy introduced me to Good To Great by Jim Collins. It is one of my favorite books for several reasons. My perspective of leadership grew with each concept that was introduced. The book clearly illustrates that individuals drive the success of an organization and a company. This concept underscores one of the most important roles that we play as leaders, to hire the right individuals in to our company. Good To Great highlights the results of effective leadership and culture as common characteristics of great companies. Additional concepts introduced in the book frame in a very simple way key elements to discovering your core competency, building momentum and achieving great results. I believe that understanding and using these concepts supports individual and organizational growth thereby taking a good company to a great one." — Jeff Martinez
