Dawn Reyes selected as TALL Texan 2011

Arlington Public Library Librarian, Dawn Reyes, has been selected by the Texas Library Association Leadership Development Committee to be a member of the 2011 TALL Texans. The acronym TALL stands for the Texas Accelerated Library Leaders Program.

According to the Texas Library Association website, "the TALL Texans Leadership Development Institute provides advanced leadership and management education in service to all the libraries of Texas the communities they serve." Members of this program are invited to the TALL Texans Leadership Institute in Dallas this June, where librarians from across the state are able to further their leadership and management education.

22 librarians from across the state were chosen to attend this leadership institute.
