Resume Building
Date, Location
Monday, February 6, 2012, 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Ruthie Brock and Allan Saxe Technology Training CenterTo register for this workshop you must attend the Resume Basics (January 30).
This is the second session of the three-part Resume series. The resume building workshop is a hands-on workshop that allows you to use the computers at the Central Library to build your resume. For the best use of your time in the workshop, please come with an outline of your employment history and work-related accomplishments ready. We will be using the Resume Maker provided through the Arlington Public Library database to build your resume. If you wish you print your resume, please bring change. It costs 15 cents per page for black and white printing.
For this workshop, we will meet at the Technology Training Center at the Central Library. Because the Technology Training Center only seats up to 12, we will host two workshops to accommodate everyone. You only need to come to one Resume Building workshop.
Other events in the series:
Resume Basics (January 30): Learn what is on a resume and why it is important.
Resume Critiques & Interview Techniques (February 18): Attend a presentation on interviewing strategies. Have your resume critiqued by experience business people.
